Domaine Drouhin Oregon ¡Salud! Pinot (DDO)
Thursday, January 21st, 2010

Oregon’s top vintners join together each year for the ¡Salud! Barrel Auction, to raise money for vineyard worker healthcare. The wines produced for ¡Salud! are exclusive to the auction, and not for sale anywhere else. We at the Taos Winter Wine Festival are thrilled to be able to support ¡Salud! by donating a portion ($25) of each ticket back to ¡Salud!

Domaine Drouhin Oregon is providing the wines from its library, as a way of highlighting this incredible organization. As for the wine itself:  it is the one time that the winery bottles Pinot Noir from a single barrel – a rare expression from their famed Estate in the Dundee Hills of Oregon, and a phenomenal snapshot of the different Oregon vintages.  DDO Assistant Winemaker Arron Bell will lead this rare retrospective tasting of Domaine Drouhin “Salud” Pinot Noir vintages 2000 through 2008!

(WS3) 2:30 to 3:30 (Snakedance in TSV) ~ $60
