GROUP LESSONS

Skier levels 4-10 are welcome. The 2-hour lessons are available every morning (9:45 AM) and afternoon (1:15 PM). Each class consists of other skiers with similar interest and ability. A great way to improve your skiing and learn about the mountain. Average class size is four. Maximum class size is seven.

YELLOWBIRD NEVER-EVER PROGRAM(13 years and older)

While Taos earned its reputation as a haven for advanced skiers, there is no better place to learn to ski. Our staff remembers what it's like to learn a new activity. You will learn from their creative and innovative approach to skiing. Our special slope and lift are designed to help anyone learn to ski. This package includes 4 hours of lessons, rentals (skis, boots & poles) and beginner lift ticket. Lessons begin at 9:45 AM with a break for lunch. The lessons end at 3:30 PM.

The Ernie Blake Snowsports School Yellowbird Guarantee
Taos is committed to creating life-long skiers. Our Yellowbird program helps guests who’ve never skied to become proficient in the most affordable way. We are confident that after two full days as a Yellowbird student you’ll be able to ski down the mountain via Whitefeather.
If you don’t leave the beginner hill, we invite you to continue in the Yellowbird program, gratis, until you do.

GREENBIRD PACKAGE
For those who have progressed past the Yellowbird program and are looking to build confidence skiing Whitefeather and beyond. This package includes a two-hour lesson, full area lift ticket and ski rentals.

MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE PACKAGE
This package offers the most value and best full-mountain experience at Taos. It includes and all-area lift ticket, inclusion in a two-hour Mountain Experience group, and performance ski/board rentals that are appropiate for the conditions of the day.
